    Neglect is when you neglect or do not provide appropriate treatment or attention to someone or something or the state of not receiving proper care or attention. In caregiving, neglect is abuse in which the offender fails to care for someone unable to care for themselves. It can be caused by carelessness, indifference, unwillingness, or abuse.


Background of the Case Study: 

    Suffering in combination with the lack of parental control is harmful to a child's development. Despite the documented effects of child abuse and neglect, there is a need to investigate the status of maltreated children living outside the home.

 

Objectives of the author: 

    This author looked into the progress of mistreated children in various areas. Similarly, it investigates differences in developmental levels concerning age, sex, and kind of abuse. The study included 206 abused and neglected children from a local cognitive behavioral therapy center in the northern Philippines.


    A person's life is one of the most significant contributors to moral development—experiences, and more specifically, adverse life. Children who have experienced trauma As previously stated, morals and decision-making are inside the mind. If a child is maltreated, abuse of various types is more likely to result in delayed or irregular mental development. Mental development is a topic with so little research to back it up. However, clear evidence suggests a lack of understanding of where and how children develop morals. Abused people will suffer physical, emotional, and mental impacts. They can shape their development. Children pick up on their caregivers' behaviors and ideas. Children will become disorderly on the playground if those who are supposed to protect them fail to do so. Understanding right and wrong Childhood is a unique and critical phase in which the brain absorbs and develops. Create new ideas without a safe environment for children to grow and learn.
